  1. hi. can i stick my gopro to the Phantom 2 Vision Plus camera to get great
quailty GoPro video together with still photos from the Phantom camera?
Will that extra weight affect the gimbal or Phantom?

  2. *Cool toys for big boys … and girls of course … ;-)*

  3. Does anyone know if you can buy the DJI Phantom 2 plain, w/o the camera and
then add the camera attachment later?

  4. The gimbal on this things is flimsy as heck. Don’t buy this version! I
know DJI will come out with something stronger soon, They are too good to
    let this product stand

  5. I am guessing this thing doesn’t do well in snow correct? I want a phantom
but the fact that it isn’t water proof and I would always be worried
something would short out I might have to go with the mariner I just hope
its as good of a quad as the phantom.

  6. I just bought one of these today. This model. I’m not young but can’t wait
to begin learning to fly it. Us guy’s never grow up :)

  7. Been flying for years, first was a Duraplane 20+ years ago. There’s a lot
of morons out there ruining this for people with common sense. I just hope
you don’t hurt someone else. I don’t care how easy the sales guy here says
it is, you should have several years of flying and be capable of flying a
RC heli first – which is much more challenging. Thanks to you people I
can’t take my RC’s into parks any more. Before it was MAN THATS AWESOME,
now it’s if you don’t leave, we will arrest you. From the same guy… Yea
    thx.

    1. The difference is in the strenght of the Gimbals.

The DJI vision 2+ gimbal is no match for the Zenmuse Gimbal.

      That is the difference.

  8. Can I buy the vision 2 and buy the “plus” kit later ? or there is no kit ?
it’s only the range extender and the gimbal stabalizer, right ?

  9. I have a Vision + and it is great fun to fly but !!
I and many other are having problems loosing Gps when switching on the
camera to record this is an issue that Dji know about but so far have not
come up with a real solution to fix this and before any one says fit alloy
or copper sheilding tape been there done that .
As for the gimbal if you crash then its going to break simple as but Dji
need to sell spares like ribbon cable to the people who purchased the
product and not at stupid prices .
If you have a go pro camera i would go this route rather than the vision+
far better fpv solutions on the market .

  10. Hello, Iv’e been enjoying your channel since purchasing my DJI Phantom2
Vision Plus. There has been a lot of talk on the news about the drones like
what I’m flying, what is your take on all this Do you think the drones will
become illegal or if not, what do you think will become of this hobby I
just invested into and love? It’s got me worried and a bit bummed. Thanks
    for your time in advance.
    Tommy

    1. Thanks for your comment, the real evergreen potential of the UAV drone is the creative freedom of flight, ability to access areas quickly that would by other means take lots of time and lots of effort. When a UAV drone is equipped with on board camera with a video option then that really adds another dimension top the possibilities. The quality of images and video is also important, it makes all the difference for the entertainment purpose. Obviously photography and video is at the core center of this new available market for enthusiasts, hobbyists, semi-pros and professional photographers. Location is also important, seasons can make a big difference in the videos presented. It may be a frozen over river bed with frozen water falls and snow covered trees, or steep rocky mountain cliffs, or a reef break with a big swell and a low off shore wind, can you imagine how much time and effort is saved by having a remotely controlled UAV. It does take a good amount of preparation and planning, checking out the weather charts in advance and planning for the moment that the conditions are just right for the magic to happen with the help of mother nature. Timing is everything, so don’t waste time in learning the skills that are necessary for the moment when you need all the preparation and flying skills to capture the awesome footage that may only last for several hours early in the morning or late noon. Stay creative and keep active.

  11. I like DJI products, but you guys really need to fix your customer support,
its the worse I have ever seen.
Not replying to people doesn’t make the problem go away, you just build up
a group of people who tell others their experience, how that affects your
    business, you decide.
