  1. *This bad boy is officially going on my wish list.* #DJI #InspireOne is the
latest #drone that is changing the way we capture video and photos once
again. Aimed a a mid-level drone at 3000 dollars, it is a good compromise
between their higher end and lower end models with some really amazing
features such as 4k video, 12MP photos, and more – check the video.

  2. People complaining about it being 3 grand. I say it should be 5 grand!
I appreciate what DJI has done for average consumer by making drones
simple, but i also blame for making drone a horror which it wasn’t before
    they came to existence.
They have made drone accessible to people who have zero understanding or
    appreciation of the technology.
Alot of these people just bought these and are abusing it to make other
    hobbyist look bad like themselves.
FPV is not banned, soon we will see more limitation of drones.
Giving out pamphlet isnt enough. People need to be tested in a simulator
before they can take on physical Quad or Tri or Hex or Octa.
These things weight somewhere between 3-6kg depending on size. imagine one
falling on you, not to mention the blades(props) rotating at ~500 rpm.

  3. “people can buy it and start flying it the same day”

Most lose control of them, crash, do stupid things like flying over people,
cars and house or near airports.
Even though they can be fairly easy to fly, I’ve watched multiple noobs
    lose control momentarily and panic.
I build my own, been flying for a while, and though it seems easy it really
    isn’t.

    Stuff happens.

The standard weapon of choice for the morons out there, the DJI Phantom.

Haven’t seen anyone using them for “privacy invasion” whatever that is,
though I’m sure there are a few doing questionable things.

  4. At that price the camera wobble would concern me. Looks to me that it’s not
strong enough for the design. Enough worries with the gimbal on the vision
plus, what with the ribbon cable snapping because the camera parts from the
gimbal very easily and is held there only by a magnet, no mechanical
restraint at all. 3D printers making money designing guards to help protect
the gimbal which in my opinion should be taken up by DJI.
Quads will now and again have heavy landings but should be built strong
enough to take at least some knocks, not just break so easily. Many have
broken their gimbals and it seems because of the number that have broke it
has now in my opinion become a built in fault and should have a recall.
Cost of the ribbon cable alone is around 20% of total price of the V plus
that is of course if you can get one and fit it yourself.

  5. “Don’t you dare fly it in a built-up area” – why the fuck not? Why did that
news reporter (clip shown in this video) get so mad at someone flying a
drone in the city? Oh cos the camera might record some people doing
something? Not like the camera is good enough to see the words on a
document inside a skyscraper it’s hovering outside of. Besides, with the
amount of money the government and various agencies spends every day spying
on each and every one of us – it seems a bit hypocritical to then say “It’s
fine for us to spy on you, but don’t you dare record anyone else with your
    drone!”

  6. This is really great BUT !! I guess when Bulb 360 cam comes to existence it
will reform how we look at 360 video shooting from drones.
First of all video balance hardware will be obsolete
Servos used for camera mount turning will be of no use.
The shape of the drone itself has to evolve more than what we are seeing .
Simply this quad thing form has to evolve to a more vibrant futuristic and
    more aerodynamic form.

  7. What I would like to know is that at 3,000+ dollars, are the pivot points
using bearings or bushings? It appears to me that this whole thing is held
together with screws and uses bushings instead of more robust roller or pin
bearings. In time, with more usage this quad will start getting loose and
then you’ll start having issues with wobbling and vibration. Personally, I
would rather see the gear retract instead of the arms coming up. The reason
is that no matter how many flights you have on it, the motors won’t start
to become loose and translate that slop to the airframe. It would also make
for a much less expensive, less complicated and even lighter airframe. I
just don’t see the need for all the “Rube Goldberg” features.

  9. *Question:* I have an extremely *Busty(⌾Y⌾)Neighbor* who sunbathes a few
houses down from my own. Is there an accessory which will enable the
Inspire 1 to snatch her Bikini Top? What about a Turbine Boost upgrade?
I’ll need to get the Inspire 1 out of there in a hurry with my prize.

  10. Nice cool stuff like many others but the dam battery run times are so low
    not worth it.
Give me a 1 hour battery run time and im sold, but so far nothing on the
market with 1 hour battery run times. for only 10-15 minutes runs you
need lots of batteries and your chances are high for running out of power.

  11. It would of been better if you were able to control it on the ipad so as
you are controlling it you can see what the drone is seeing…..instead of
    having two set of hands.

  12. 3 grand, then you need a tablet, spare batteries, spare parts etc…
starting to get more costly and whoa, hows the camera shake, gimbals be
working overtime. You would think for the cost there would be no shake at
all Also how long does one battery give flying ?. Looks cool though.

  13. lets face it, the immediate reaction of most governments will be to ban it.
anything they can’t predict gets put down like a diseased dog.

  15. All of this should stay legal until the idiots that have more money than
brains ruin it for everybody. I just hope the authorities treat it like a
gun and not punish everybody that flies responsibly. 400 feet max altitude
and direct line of sight at all times or you instantly become FAA bait.

  16. Designing this must have been so cool.

Looks like a Star Wars drone though. Brining back memories..

The lifting arms just does it for me. Just like a convertable top in Cali.

Super smart. Looks great ladies and gentlemen. Style points a plus.

  17. They keep saying good price for the average consumer.I’m sorry I’m an
“Average Consumer” But I don’t have $3,000.00 laying around somewhere.Any
way you look at it it’s a rich man’s Toy, Unless your a working stiff but
don’t have one Bill to pay.

  18. awesome video. Thanks for posting. me wanty.($3k is not cheap, wow. who can
afford three thousand dollars for a toy? rich people. sooooooo, not me.)

  19. Why is the gimbal shaking like that? Looks nice and all, I’m just worried
about DJI’s quality control issues which is as famous as their drones.
Wonder what kind of issues will arise with this one

    1. I agree, the shake of the camera gimbal arm in the video 1:15 sec -1:25 sec mark looks horrid. You can imagine what the video footage would look like from that shake. It would look like a inside rally car video footage when the car has left the road and is running out of control down a rocky mountain side. Yeeahaaa!
