I think that action sport like surfing, snowboarding and skiing are great for UAV cinematography. The nature of the these sports are very fluent, smooth flowing with the terrain, therefore it is natural to capture these action sports from the air, by a flying camera. The flying UAV allows for a the neccessary frredom to capture the action from a different plane, than the waves are restricted to, likewise the snow covered slopes of the mountains. Flying allows for absolute 3 dimensional freedom, overcoming the strong force of gravity, that constantly pulls towards the solid ground. Camera freedom is what the UAV provides for the artist, to go about the business of photography and video footage capture, with incredible modern technological tools that over come constraints of the force of gravity.

music. Try to find something less 1996 Kiss Fm/music for a montage in Blue
Crush part 4 and more universal. Just think how much more powerful this
video would be if a Hanz Zimmer score was put to it. That may be more
serious sounding than you wanted. I am 27 and I can’t think of a single
demographic that this would appeal to. There might be 1% of the age group
25-30 that could actually enjoy this song. That being said, the footage is
beautiful. Keep it coming. Just please curb this song or anything remotely
similar. Check out any surf movie made in the last decade and even the
worst song you could find would be leagues better. Thanks for listening.

Here’s a 4 minute compilation of those new metal birds in the sky that
everyone seems to love. This video is a compilation of apparently the very
best drone surfing videos on the internet. It features surf spots like
Impossibles in Bali, the north shore Maui and Mentawai Islands. Although
far from a high shredability clip it does give you some glimpses of where
you’d rather be as the new working year grinds off to a torturous start.

At least the music is better suited to waves than earbusting rap crap or
metal damage growling or old geyser rock! Excellent video! two thumbs up!
These vids are brilliant and show surfing from yet another unseen
perspective, the downside though is, this perspective does make surfing
look that bit do-able. I wouldn’t be surprised if we see even more people
in the water over the next few years down to the ‘Drone effect’.
